Relationship with the natural world

I am amazed how most of my relatives and neighbours (not friends, luckily !) can be so cut off from the natural world.

Plants have no space in their life apart from the mandatory beautifying of their entrance doors. There is no personal relationship with the plants except perhaps with the Tulsi plant which occupies a place in religion.

Please stay tuned into the ebola emergency in Liberia and Sierra Leone. Lakhs may be dead by the end of the year if the international community has not managed to contain this disease. There is every chance it will get out of those borders and bring fear to other countries.

Besides, food is running short there, orphaned children are uncared for.. it is a humanitarian disaster that these countries are not able to cope with on their own.

Please donate as much as you can.. all the organizations fighting the disease on the ground are short of funds.. We donated to MSF, UK (doctors without borders, who from the beginning of the outbreak have had staff on the ground). but you can also donate to UNICEF. You can ask your contribution be used only to assist in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
