I am amazed how most of my relatives and neighbours (not friends, luckily !) can be so cut off from the natural world.
Plants have no space in their life apart from the mandatory beautifying of their entrance doors. There is no personal relationship with the plants except perhaps with the Tulsi plant which occupies a place in religion.
